英文摘要
While video gaming is very popular and video game play has been associated with a positive impact on well being, these games are still often inaccessible for a large number of gamers with disabilities. Understanding the user experience, and usability issues that these players face is often logistically challenging; these players are often difficult to recruit, and the environment of the traditional lab based research conducted by larger studios often struggles to accomodate the players specific disabilities. This project aims to address these issues by investigating alternative research methods that can be deployed to examine the user experiences of gamers with disabilities, including surveys, diary studies, and remote playtesting.
