The research aims to identify whether and analyse how social inequalities have been discussed and addressed by science advisors and policymakers in the UK. The project employs a diversity of theoretical and methodological approaches to draw further attention to the power of the discursive, particularly discourses constructed by those upheld as experts, to impact the material and shape social order.
