The principal objective of this EngD project is to contribute to the development of numerical tools for the simulation of multiple impellers in industrial process equipment relevant to formulation engineering applications. The expected outcome will be a generic methodology for implementing CFD to multiple impellers systems that can be executed with reasonable computational effort and therefore directly applicable to industrial applications. The objectives of this project therefore clearly go beyond the current state of the art and focus on providing a unique tool that can be implemented in both engineering research and industry.
