My project focuses on using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) for fabricating atomic-scale electronics, such as quantum dots and qubits, using a technique called hydrogen lithography. This involves placing dopant atoms, such as phosphorus or arsenic, on the surface of a semiconductor with precision at the atomic level. I also utilize machine learning techniques to analyse and label STM data, identify defects to streamline fabrication process.
