英文摘要
The project will explore uses of artificial intelligence (AI) within curatorial practice, focussing on the collection held by the Computer Arts Archive (CAA) in Leicester. Computer art presents a challenge to curators due to multiple media formats used in development, presentation and exhibition. This complexity uses large amounts of data which lends itself to using an AI to identify patterns that inform the development of new and insightful curations. The project will develop and evaluate a taxonomy for archival of both physical and digital artifacts. Theresearch will use a transdisciplinary mixed methodology, combining practice-based research using my own curatorial experience, interviews with creators, content analysis of materials within the CAA collection, and development
