Childhood obesity is a major public health concern worldwide. This study evaluates the effectiveness of (MBIs) in minimizing eating disorders and weight reduction during COVID-19 lockdown. Obese adolescents aged 14-18 years with BMI > 85 % will be recruited. The interventional stage will be conducted over 12 weeks duration; Participants will be asked to attend a stress-free living program as a mindfulness intervention. A follow-up visits at 6 and 12 months after completing the study will be conducted to assess the long-term effect of MBIs. At each visit, weight and height will be measured, and participants will be asked to answer an obesity-related eating behaviours questionnaire. They will also be provided with food diaries to assess their daily food habits and calorie intake. The aim to achieve new conclusions regarding MBIs interventions in managing obese adolescent during the COVID-19 pandemic.
