Studies of changes in erythrocyte and lymphocyte cell membranes upon treatment with calcium ionophore and removal of cholesterol. Membrane properties are measured with laurdan. Cholesterol is manipulated with methyl-beta-cyclodextrin. The binding of sPLA2 to the cells is assessed with oregon green-labeled sPLA2.
