This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The Outreach Core will serve as an active conduit of information on the CPP to the broad research community. This core will organize, coordinate, and fund visits of the individual participants of the CPP to other Institutes and Universities, and to major meetings of professional societies. The express purpose of these outreach visits will be to discuss the objectives of the CPP, its technological approach, and to try and stimulate collaborations with other scientific groups. A vigorous effort will be made to build bridges with organized centers and consortia that are focusing on other cellular signaling networks and pathways
