During this period, the collaborative team has developed a research plan to assess Six1-Eya2 disruptors in a model of fibrosis. Pharmacokinetic studies have been designed to determine exposure levels in relevant tissues. The Early Translation Branch's (ETB) overall goal is to uncover new small molecule therapeutics and catalyze the process of therapeutic development through a model of collaborative research. Within this collaboration, the team will test the hypothesis that Six1-Eya2 disruptors will diminish fibrosis.
