英文摘要
The concept of biorefinery for the production of biofuels and multitudes of high value molecules is an integral part of the bioenergy program at Dalhousie University, mitigating environmental problems associated with waste materials, and improving the economics of the conversion processes. Several researchers in the Engineering Faculty, and the School of Resource and Environmental Studies carry out leading research to support Canada's foray into bio-conversion. These researchers are exploring and exploiting the economic and environmental potential and benefits of utilizing waste materials for the production of biofuels and high value molecules.
