The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Dalhousie relies heavily on computing resources which are invaluable for much of the cutting-edge research and training being done here. Most of this research is funded by NSERC, including Discovery Accelerator grant (Dr. Field in Statistics). Our computing infrastructure is also key to training of graduate students. These resources are shared by collaborators in other departments such as biology and computer science as well as other universities.
