Cross-platform Interactive eBook Design for Cookbooks

This project will investigate the potential of eBook design for developing interactive cookbooks. In partnership with Invoke, a Vancouver-based company, a group of Emily Carr students directed by faculty will produce an enhanced eBook featuring Eat St. TV show's recipes as the main content. This partnership will allow us to transfer Emily Carr faculty and student expertise in the area of eBook development in communication design while granting our students a chance to work with a local company on an innovative title that demands a unique and cross-platform solution. With this project we will equip this local company with the adequate knowledge and analysis strategies to continue developing and monetizing future eBook title series.
