Kuriyama Canada Inc. is a leader in thermoplastic hose innovation and manufactures hose products for a wide range of application in various industries. The hoses typically have a multilayer construction that may be composed of tubes of different polymer types. The hoses are designed to perform under different conditions of temperature and pressure depending on the application. One of the key determinants of this performance is the degree to which bonding can be achieved between the various tube layers and the reinforcing yarns. Kuriyama is interested in developing superior inter-layer bonding solutions in order to develop high performance hose.
