In this project, we aim to address the problem of automating the electrical layout generation from architectural floor plans through computer vision methods. Electrical layout generation constitutes a key activity of our partner company (Triumph Electrical Consulting Engineering Ltd.) and is usually carried out manually from architectural floor plans, which is time-consuming and error-prone. There is a tremendous potential for increased productivity and cost-effective solutions regarding the automation of electrical designs.
