Over the last 10 years we have seen a dramatic growth in communication technology. Advancement in technologies such as wireless has had a tremendous impact on society. Probably, the best sign of the impact can be seen by the fact that the traditional phone greeting "Hello, how are you?" has changed to "Hello, where are you?". Mobility and continuous change in spatial position create new challenges in geometrical optimization, distributed computation and geometrical algorithms such as dynamic path finding. At the same time demand for unmanned autonomous and semi autonomous solutions to a variety of tasks is increasing in order to avoid risk to humans when working in hazardous environment (e.g., cleaning up disaster zones from toxic materials).
