Holland College Canada's Smartest Kitchen is a premier industry resource for development of marketable food products in Atlantic Canada. CSK provides industry with access to highly reputable Research Chefs and a team of innovative thinkers; proven product development processes based on a solid foundation of market research and demonstrated ability to transform food ideas into market realities; specialized 'smart' technology and equipment; and a client-focused, one-stop resource for their food product development needs. CSK provides this full suite of services to industry through its own expertise and close working relationships with food science partners for integrated culinary and food science throughout the product development process and through collaboration with government and business organizations that support industry with their production, marketing, and other business needs. Industry accesses these services and the transfer of knowledge through CSK and will have greater chance of commercial success with food products. CSK will continue to build on these relationships in order to be a more valuable resource to industry throughout the region. Atlantic Canadian SMEs will have access to knowledge and processes for food innovation and development of new and enhanced food products that meet consumer needs and will be able to accelerate the commercialization ofthese products.
