英文摘要
Since yeast probiotics and their cell wall components (CWCs) are being used to treat enteric inflammatory diseases in different species including humans, they may be useful for preventing Johne's disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease of ruminants caused by Mycobacterium avium spp. paratuberculosis (MAP). In our previous study, we developed in vitro assays that allowed us to assess the anti-adhesive properties of specific yeast CWCs using MAP as a target pathogen on bovine mammary epithelial cells (Mac-T). Additionally, a bovine macrophage cell line (BoMac) was used to assess potential yeast CWC immunomodulatory properties. The proposed study will follow-up this research and focus on the potential
