This is a new research collaboration between the proponent Karl-Erich Lindenschmidt from the Global Institute for Water Security at the University of Saskatchewan, with expertise in river ice modelling and geospatial modelling and the industrial partner NorthPoint Energy Solutions Inc. (NES) which maintains and continuously adapts electrical power generation operating plans and provides load management services to ensure an adequate supply margin to meet Saskatchewan's overall electrical energy system requirements.
