Building structures are normally made of concrete, steel, masonry or wood or combination thereof. In these structures, many parts are interconnected together using fastening systems. The demands of the building industry for more flexible and dependable connection methods and efforts to improve the performance of building structures have focused particular attention on the design, installation and performance of fastening systems. The design requirements for fasteners are to transmit structural loads by means of tension, shear, or a combination of tension and shear to the supporting structural elements; or safety-related attachments and structural elements. Safety levels that are specified in building codes are intended for in-service conditions, rather than for short-term handling and construction conditions. Considering limited and general guidelines currently available for the fastening system of building envelope cladding, there is a need to carry out a
