Photon etc. is commercializing a fluorescence imaging platform to observe carbon nanotube sensors in the infrared. The choice of the infrared spectral region is driven by the high transparency of biological tissues in this wavelength range compared to the visible. Recently, this technology allowed the simultaneous imaging of 17 different sensors resulting in an increasing interest for Photon etc imaging platform from other research groups. However, the objects under study are biological samples in which organelles are moving during measurement. With Photon current analysis software, the hyperspectral for these objects cannot be used and data is lost. Another run of experiment should be performed hoping that no movement will occur during the measurement. This Engage project specifically addresses this moving objects issue and should result in the development of a software module that will reconstruct hyperspectral data of moving objects.
