The NSERC telemedicine project will provide improved timeliness and more cost-effective lifesaving specialized medical
care, especially for remote and northern Canadian communities and to military groups, leveraging Monroes and its partner
organizations technologies and world class capabilities, and Monroes military and medical groups support. The
telemedicine project will provide specialist physician capabilities to remote patients and communities so as to permit new
and expanded remote medical capabilities, which would otherwise heretofore not be available without direct physician onsite
presence.
