SAIT will work with Newalta Corporation on a two-year project to explore the development of new, beneficial products that reuse drill cutting waste. This project is expected to result in economic and environmental benefits by reducing the volume of waste sent to landfills for disposal. New knowledge, expertise and technology will be transferred to the private sector, and SAIT researchers, faculty, staff and students will gain new knowledge and experience through their involvement in the project.
