The purpose of this Engage project is to develop an optimization routine for a newly develop face offsetting algorithm. MESH Consultants Inc. provides mathematical and geometric support for the digital design industry. It has recently been advancing an internal project related to an issue that arises frequently in architecture and computer-aided design (CAD), namely offsetting, and developed a new algorithm. However, it lacks the expertise to develop an optimization routine that will help the company to implement the algorithm efficiently.
