Honest Dumplings Ltd. is a manufacturer of gourmet Chinese dumplings. The company is focused on making products for a western consumer palate, using modern and on-trend ingredients and recipes. The company has demonstrated traction in the market and demand is growing. This project is focused on improving the yield, quality and consistency of the Honest Dumplings frozen dumpling product line by solving a dough cracking issue and improving the consistency of its natural colourings. Results from this project will be incorporated into the company's production processes. For the company, solving the dough tearing issue will positively impact its bottom line by reducing production losses. Reduced dough tearing and more consistent colouring will also make the product line more appealing to the retail sales channel.
