The grant solves an industry research problem by providing H3alth Technologies several design solutions for**an off-grid container to climate-control scanning technology for use in remote locations. This project builds on**Dr. Bucking's expertise in net-zero energy buildings and will utilize monitored data from a pre-existing 220ft²**tiny house which achieves similar goals. Carleton researchers will research and provide several solutions, and**provides lessons-learned using real experiments from which the industry partner choose to further develop. The**proposed methodology builds from Dr. Bucking's research expertise in energy and cost optimized solutions**using optimization search techniques. If this collaboration is successful, we will look to build the structure in**partnership with H3alth Technologies in summer of 2019.
