This work aims to investigate the performance of multiple hydrokinetic river turbines, clean energy technology**that provides opportunities to displace diesel generation especially in a remote regions. This work supports**Marine Energy Roadmap to achieve market penetration for marine technology and aligns with Climate**Leadership Plan to replace coal-fired electricity generation with cleaner energy sources. When multiple**turbines are arranged in a row the wake developed upstream will significantly affect the performance of the**downstream turbines. The geometric complexity of the turbine, presence of the rotating components in a**relative motion, complex turbulent wake-structure interaction in a downstream region limits the application of**existing low-fidelity commercial numerical tools and requires high-fidelity numerical methods. Addressing**these limitations is of major importance to New Energy Corporation in order to improve the performance of the**system. Using high-fidelity stabilized and multi-scale methods developed by CFSMgroup the computational**fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations will be performed on a multiple full-scale 25-kW vertical turbines designed**by New Energy to investigate the flow behaviour around multiple turbines in different configurations and under**the realistic flow conditions.
