英文摘要
Mathematical models of low dimensional nanostructures and their arrays will be developed and analyzed, systematically taking into account the crucial influence of physical fields on the properties of such systems. These new models and methods will be applied to a number of cutting edge problems, including the use of nanostructures in physical and biological applications such as ribonucleic acid (RNA) based bio-nanotechnology and renewable energy sources. The development of new application-driven mathematical models, theories and tools will be effectively integrated with training of highly qualified personnel and outreach activities, as well as strengthening and substantially expanding current international interdisciplinary collaboration.
