LaSalle Agri is an agriculture company located in Watford, Ontario, that specializes in providing farmers with premium pelleted bio fertilizer. To improve customer satisfaction and efficiency, LaSalle Agri is looking to provide a functional and streamlined cross-platform application to streamline services. In partnership with Lambton College's ITCRC, LaSalle Agri proposes to design, implement and deploy across-platform application, which covers all aspects of the sale process and enables different parties (seller, buyer, and courier) to collaborate effectively. Through the leveraging of the connectivity of the Internet ofThings (IoT) and its ability for predictive analysis, it will assist with streamlining various processes and boost the bottom line of the business. The proposed project will assist LaSalle Agri with the ability to geographically track the movements of their trucking service, adding automation through instant notifications to both LaSalle employees and customersregarding product pickup and delivery. The platform and application will have automated notification and data collection. This data will then be used for billing purposes.LaSalle Agri clients value the services and supplies that the company provides and would greatly benefit from the ability to receive instant notifications throughout the process of delivering the purchased services orsupplies. The implementation of a platform that offers push notifications to all relevant parties through thevalue chain will effectively allow both LaSalle and their clients to manage their needs efficiently.
