GOO Canada Inc. is a Quebec company working in the development and marketing of connected products for office automation, health monitoring and urban mobility. In order to increase and diversify its offerings in the range of mobile IoT peripherals by making them more agile and connected to the work environment of SMEs, the company is currently working on a project to expand the scope of use of the 4G/5G IoT connectivity of its products beyond urban WiFi networks. Specifically, GOO Canada wishes to develop and establish the conditions for 5G connectivity as an extended Data point of service for these small mobile devices, under the constraints of small physical size, low power consumption, cost and product security against cyber-piracy. This development requires a research input in order to find solution paths that meet the set of constraints specific to this 5G use case. To do so, GOO Canada is seeking C2T3's expertise in 5G telecommunications in order to proceed with the search for a solution. For GOO Canada, this research project is an important vector of innovation and growth intended to position itself in the emerging market of intelligent connectivity (i.e. fusion of LTE, IoT and artificial intelligence networks) adapted to the intelligent workstation, through expertise on the technological means to achieve this.
