英文摘要
Multiomic analysis is empowering precision medicine and is leading to a new paradigm of preventative and prognostic medicine integrating omic and physiological data. Extracellular vesicles and (rare) circulating cells carry the molecular fingerprints of their origin, and provide context-rich information, but are not considered. Here, Dr. Juncker proposes a trimodal analysis platform capturing protein, extracellular vesicles, and rare circulating cells using technologies developed in his lab. The trimodal analysis will be optimized and validated with breast and metastatic liver cancer patients. Trimodal analysis will enhance multiomic analysis, lead to more accurate prognosis, earlier diagnosis, and eventually preventative medicine.
