The Centre for Sensors and System Integration (CSSI) provides industry, particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with prototyping, product enhancement, testing, and characterization services related to sensor and system integration. We also supply advanced testing services for materials characterization such as hardness, abrasion resistance and strength. These types of tests are ideal for evaluating next generation coatings for use on Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) and pipes. We assist organizations with development, funding and general guidance to make their product development initiatives more successful. CSSI is industry focused, collaborative, and complementary to the applied research and technology development services provided by other members of Alberta's innovation network.
