Pollution¿s true toll on our society and planet is finally being realized. While society demands change and regulatory systems worldwide are trying to change, a major limitation in meeting this challenge is the lack of cost-effective, validated, and scalable tools that are trusted by end-users. Dr. Basu¿s program aims to help fill this gap by focusing his research on the development and application of ¿New Approach Methods¿ related to toxicity testing and exposure science, focusing on pressing international matters. Dr. Basu will also continue to ensure that his research cuts across disciplines, stakeholder groups, and the science-policy interface.
