近年来，国内各高等院校和科研所引进了一批致力于从事天然产物全合成方面研究工作的优秀青年人才。国家基金委和科技部等部门也加强了天然产物全合成领域研究的支持。为了给青年学者搭建好学术交流的平台，促进青年学者的健康快速成长，增强我国从事天然产物全合成科学研究队伍的群体效应和国际影响力。第二届“天然产物全合成－青年学术研讨会” 将于2013年6月在北京大学召开。第一届“天然产物全合成－青年学术研讨会”已于2012年6月在上海召开。. 此次研讨会主要就天然产物合成领域的国内外发展趋势和共同关注的热点问题，如天然产物合成与合成方法学、化学生物学、药物化学以及制药工艺研究等方面展开广泛和深入的讨论。此次研讨会邀请了国内从事天然产物全合成的六十多位优秀的青年学者，共有4个特邀报告和16个邀请报告。

In recent years, many domestic universities and research institutes have recruited a number of outstanding young talents who are engaged in the natural product total synthesis research work. The National Natural Science foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology also strengthens the research support for the area of natural products total synthesis. The 2th Natural Product Synthesis-Young Investigator Forum” will be held at Peking University, June 21-24th, 2013. The objectives of this forum are to build good academic communication platform for young scholars, to promote the health and rapid growth for young scholars, and to enhance the group effect and international influence in the area of natural products total synthesis of China. The 1st forum on the same theme was organized in Shanghai, 2012.. The 2th Forum will cover the development trend and the hot issues of mutual concern in the field of natural products synthesis, including natural product synthesis, synthetic method, chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, and the organic process research & development and other relevant methodologies. The forum invited more than sixty outstanding young scholars and the academic program of the forum will consist of 4 plenary lectures and 16 invited lectures.
