Undergraduate Faculty Enhancement Workshops at the 13th Biennial Conference on Chemical Education

Six workshops, each lasting two to three days, will be given at the end of the 13th Biennial Conference on Chemical Education in the Summer of 1994. The topics to be covered and the workshop directors are: (1) Interfacing Computers with Chemical Instrumentation - Ken Ratzlaff, (2) Spreadsheets in Chemistry Courses - Pat Flath, (3) Mathematical Software for Chemical Education - Allan Smith, (4) High Field NMR - Richard Cornelius, (5) X-ray crystallography - Jenny Glusker and Miriam Rossi, and (6) Materials Chemistry - Gary Wnek. Participants will communicate with each other following the workshops and will attend a follow-up session during the 14th Biennial Conference in the Summer of 1996.
