Young Scholars Program at the University of Tennessee, Memphis

The University of Tennessee, Memphis will initiate a ten- week, commuter, Young Scholars project in biostatistics and cell biology for 20 students entering the 9th and 10th grades. This summer year program will emphasize an interdisciplinary study of biochemistry, anatomy and neurobiology, physiology, biophysics/biomedical engineering, microbiology and immunology, pathology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, and pharmacology. Opportunities for continued laboratory research during the academic year will be provided.
