The Third DMJ/IMRN Conference

第三届杜克数学期刊会议将于2004年4月23日（星期五）至4月25日（星期日）在杜克大学举行。这次会议的目的是让年轻的数学家们在一个高质量的数学周末聚在一起。将有八个主要的数学家在不同的主题领域，这是定期在journal.Before会议上，发言者将通过会议的网站分发有关他们的会谈介绍材料。所有的演讲都将被录像，并与演讲者的笔记一起沿着在网上提供。这将使与会者和更广泛的农业界受益。会议还将通过提供高质量的数学体验，使美国东南部的数学界受益。

The 3rd Duke Mathematical Journal Conference will be held at DukeUniversity Friday, April 23 through Sunday, April 25, 2004. The goal ofthe conference is to bring young mathematicians together for a weekend ofhigh quality mathematics. There will be talks by eight leading youngmathematicians on diverse subject areas which are regularly represented inthe journal.Prior to the Conference, speakers will distribute introductory materialrelated to their talks via the conference web site. All talks will bevideotaped and made available on the Web, along with the speakers' notes.This will benefit the participants as well as the broader mathematicalcommunity. The conference will also benefit the mathematical community inthe south-eastern US by providing a high-quality mathematical experience.
