Teacher action in violence and bullying situations. A study about characteristics, predictors and consequences of interventions from the perspective of teachers and students.

对教师来说，在学生暴力情况下进行专业干预是一项重大挑战。到目前为止，我们不知道教师如何看待暴力和欺凌，他们的反应的预测因素是什么，以及他们的干预措施有什么效果。以往的研究是以学生为中心，主要涉及学生暴力的程度，形式和原因。教师的行为在很大程度上被忽视了。因此，本项目的目标是深入了解教师在暴力和欺凌情况下的行为，并从教师和学生的角度捕捉他们的干预措施的特点，预测因素和后果。本研究拟对360名教师及其学生进行定量调查，以回答启发式模型提出的研究问题。通过将教师和学生的视角以及学校暴力研究和教师研究联系起来，期望在教师专业发展和民主学校发展方面有新的发现。

Intervening professionally in situations of student violence is a major challenge for teachers. To date, we do not know how teachers perceive violence and bullying, what are the predictors of their reactions, and what effects have their interventions. Previous research is student-centered and deals predominantly with the extent, forms and causes of student violence. Teacher behavior remained largely ignored. Therefore the objective of this project is to gain insight into the teacher actions in violence and bullying situations, and to capture characteristics, predictors and consequences of their interventions from the perspective of teachers and students. A quantitative survey of 360 teachers and their students is planned to answer the research questions derived from a heuristic model. By linking the teacher and student perspective, as well as school-based violence research and teacher research, new findings on teacher professional development and democratic school development are expected.
