eComparatio: Development of an open-source tool for comparing and collating multiple digital editions to create a critical apparatus (pilot project)

ECompatio项目旨在开发一个模块化的应用程序，允许将文本的多个版本(来自手稿、印刷或数字文本版本)相互比较，并有可能为古代作者的数字版本创建一个关键设备。文本数量不受限制，输入格式灵活。作为另一个模块，我们计划将应用程序与Cite体系结构(学术参考框架)，特别是CTS(规范文本服务，用于识别文本并通过以CTS urns表示的规范引用检索文本片段的网络服务)连接起来，还与HTTP和Clarin-D的PID服务连接。

The project eComparatio aims to develop a modular application that allows to compare multiple versions of a text (from manuscripts, printed or digital text editions) with each other with the possibility to create a critical apparatus for digital editions of ancient authors. The number of texts is not limited, the input format is flexible. The application will be scalable, the result can be exported as a list to create a critical apparatus.As a further module we plan to connect the application with the CITE architecture (a framework for scholarly reference) and especially the CTS (Canonical Text Services, a network service for identifying texts and for retrieving fragments of texts by canonical reference expressed as CTS URNs), also with HTTP and the PID-service of CLARIN-D.
