'Sigenot'-Edition

德国文献学的主要任务之一是取代在方法上过时且经常不可靠的中世纪德语文本的19世纪版本。由于新版迪特里希史诗《劳林》、《罗森加滕》和《处女》近年来在不来梅相继出版和/或准备，新版《西吉诺》在研究中世纪德国英雄史诗方面是可取的。该项目的目标是建立一个新的文本版本，接近埃特勒·西吉诺的手稿和印刷传统，以及Jüngerer Sigenot的版本，作为研究文本和传播史以及文学史和解释的历史验证的文本基础。

One of the main tasks of German Philology is to replace methodologically obsolete and frequently unreliable 19th century editions of medieval German texts. Since the new editions of the historical Dietrich epics, Laurin, Rosengarten and Virginal have been published and/or prepared in Bremen during the last years, a new edition of Sigenot is desideratum in the research on medieval German heroic epic. The project aim is a new text edition, close to the manuscript and print traditions, of Älterer Sigenot and the versions of Jüngerer Sigenot, which can serve as a historically verified text basis for research on textual and transmission history as well as for literary history and interpretation.
