Mechanochemical Activation of Inert Chemical Bonds

在这个中德联合研究项目中，我们打算与来自复旦大学的史教授合作，研究机械化学条件下金属催化的惰性C-X键活化。与这个特定的研究小组合作很重要，因为可以预见协同效应。虽然史教授在C-X键激活（特别是C-C和C-O键）领域是全球备受尊敬的同事，但我们在机械化学条件下的催化化学（包括C-H键激活）方面拥有专业知识。中德两国在这些领域的合作有望产生新的科学发现，并通过跨文化交流促进年轻研究人员的发展。因此，我们认为参与研究者的交流和流动性是项目进展和成功的关键，我们提供了各种措施来刺激这种科学互动。

Within this Joint Sino-German Research Project we intend to collaborate with Professor Shi (from Fudan University) investigating metal-catalyzed activations of inert C-X bonds under mechanochemical conditions. Teaming up with this particular research group is important because synergistic effects can be foreseen. While Professor Shi is a worldwide highly respected colleague in the area of C-X bond activations (in particular, C-C and C-O linkages), we have expertise in catalytic chemistry under mechanochemical conditions (including C-H bond activations).Joining the Chinese and German forces in these fields is envisioned to result in new scientific discoveries as well as the promotion of young researchers by intercultural exchange. Accordingly, we consider communication and mobility of the participating investigators as key for the advance and success of the project, and we offer various measures to stimulate such scientific interactions.
