Environmental Design from the View Point of "IKATA"

当一个人在公共空间中占据一席之地时，无论他或她是否愿意，许多关系和模式都会在他或她周围产生。对于这些模式和关系，我在日语中定义了Ikata这个词，在英语中定义了Mod of Being in Places。Ikata是一种描述、分析和设计一个人在一个地方或场景中的概念和语言。本研究通过实地考察和查阅日本城市公共空间的照片和视频数据，得出以下三点结论：1。日本的城市公共空间概念通过对1960-2000年日本建筑期刊的研究，收集整理了日本城市公共空间的设计概念，如活动、使用、人的行为和Ikata。从视觉连接和结构的角度看城市空间从关西地区城市公共空间的实地考察，视觉连接的概念和关于人与环境之间的社会和空间关系的结构。城市环境中的“自己的世界”和“他人的世界”图式通过对“最喜欢的地方”和“重要的地方”的问卷调查，得出了城市环境中的“自己的世界”和“其他世界”图式的概念。当今的建筑和城市设计倾向于贴心空间或主题公园空间，但在日常场所附近进行非日常场所设计是可能的。

When a person takes a position in a public space, whether he or she desires it or not, many relations and modes are generated around him or her. For these modes and relations, I defined the term "ikata" in Japanese, and "mode of being in places" in English., Ikata is a concept and language to describe and analyze and design "a person in a place or in a scene". In this study, through field observations and examination of photo and video data of urban public spaces in Japan, we found 3 results as follows1. Nowadays architectural and urban design tends to inntimate space or theme park space, but there is possibility of non-daily place design near daily place
