Social transformation and sustainable natural resources use in the Pamir after the Soviet era

本研究以1991年独立后的塔吉克斯坦东部和吉尔吉斯斯坦南部的边缘和贫困山区为重点，阐明了大型草食动物和灌木树木等自然资源的消耗状况，审查了土地利用的转变，（特别是夏季和冬季牧场）和原始旅游业的状况，并确定了日益增加的牲畜-牲畜冲突。此外，本研究还讨论了为可持续利用或保护自然资源而开发地质生态旅游的可能性。

This study, focusing in the marginal and poor mountain areas of the eastern part of Tajikistan and southern part of Kyrgyz after the 1991 independence from the former Soviet Union, clarified the status of the consumption of natural resources such as large herbivores and shrub trees, examined the transformation of land use (especially, summer and winter pastures) and the status of the primitive tourism, and identified the increased wolf-livestock conflict. Further, this study discussed about possibilities in the development of geo-ecotourism for sustainable use or conservation of the natural resources.
