Analysis of Food Demand by Age Sex.

日本最近的粮食需求是使用“家庭收入和支出调查”（日本首相办公室）进行分析的。我们根据每个家庭成员的年龄和性别对其食物需求量进行估算，运用线性回归模型得到：1。20 ~ 40岁女性的大米需求量正在减少，但年轻男女的大米需求量和以前一样多。2. 每个家庭成员，尤其是年轻男女，都需要更多的牛肉和鸡肉。3. 像火腿、香肠和培根这样的肉类产品主要是年轻男女的需求。4. 像黄油和奶酪这样的奶制品主要是中年妇女需要的。

Recent food demand in Japan is analyed using "Family Income and Expenditure Survey" ( Prime Minister's Office, Japan ).We estimated the amount of food demanded by each household menber according to his age and sex, applying the linear regression models and find:1. The amount of rice demanded by women aged 20--40 is decreading, but the young men and women have demanded as much rice as before. 2. Much more amount of beef and chiken are demanded by every household members, especially by young men and women. 3. Meat proucts like as ham,sausages and bacon are demanded mainly by young men and women. 4. Milk products like as butter and cheese are demanded mainly by middle aged women.
