Comparative Study on Curriculum Development for Technology Literacy within Universal Education in Eight Countries

本研究报告介绍了英国、法国、瑞典、美国、德国、俄罗斯、韩国、台湾等8个国家和地区在技术教育课程开发方面的一些新动向，并对这些国家的技术教育课程和教材进行了分析。研究结果如下：（1）技术教育课程是从小学到十一年级或十年级的普及教育。这一趋势被公认为是大多数先进国家的共同趋势。(2)技术教育的课程框架正在改变，以便向儿童介绍现代技术和真实的工作世界。

The report of this project describes some new international trends of the curriculum development for what is now called the technology literacy, in the eight countries ; England, France, Sweden, United States of America, Germany, Russia, Korea, Taiwan.The national curricula and textbooks of the technology education in these countries are analyzed. The results are as follows ;(1) The technology education courses are provided as the universal education from the elementary school level to the eleventh or tenth grade. This trend is recognized common to most of the advanced nations.(2) The curriculum frameworks for the technology education are changing in order to introduce children to the modern technology and the real world of work.
