TENDENCY OF DEVEROPING INFORMATION NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES AND THEIR SOCIAL IMPACTS

我们与日本运筹学学会课题组成员每月召开一次会议，研究和讨论信息网络系统利用的趋势。通过几个案例对开放式计算机网络及其管理、intranet的发展趋势、internet的安全问题等进行了调查。我们还计划于1995年12月7日至9日和1996年12月5日至7日举行两次关于信息网络技术及其社会影响的专题讨论会。在研讨会上，我们广泛讨论了通信网络系统的危机管理问题，特别是阪神地震灾害中遇到的风险管理问题，国家信息通信网络基础设施问题，涉及多媒体服务的问题，远程办公的趋势及其对日本管理方式的影响等。在研讨会上提交的所有报告都打印在资助科学研究的最终报告中。

We held a monthly meeting for studying and discussing trends of utilization of information network system with members of research group in Operations Research Society of Japan. There we surveyed through several case studies on open computer network and its management, trends of intranet, security problem of internet and so on.We also planned two syposiums on information network technology and its social impacts, which were held on December 7-9,1995 and December 5-7,1996. At the symposiums we dicussed extensively about the topics on the crisis management of communication network systems, especially risk management problms encountered at the Earthquake Disaster of Hanshin District, matters of National Infrastructure of Information and Communication Network, problems of implicating multimedia services, tendency of telework and its influence to Japanese management style and so on. All reports presented at symposiums are printed in the Final Report to Grant-in-Aid Scientific Research.
