Research of culture stereotypes of foreign students and its practical applications by teachers -Discourse Analysis of Journal writings

对于日语学习者来说，摆脱文化刻板印象是很重要的。学习者如何成功地抛弃这些文化刻板印象，取决于他们的日语老师。尽管日语教师或志愿者对学习者有很大的影响，但他们对文化刻板印象的理解是怎样的，他们是如何处理的，我们还没有发现。因此，我们进行了以下四种类型的研究2 .以减少文化刻板印象为目的的跨文化教育课堂中的行动研究3 .日本学生文化刻板印象的话语分析4 .日语教师和志愿者文化刻板印象意识的问卷调查结果揭示了日语教师和志愿者文化刻板印象的实际情况。在研究过程中，提出了关于文化刻板印象感知和自我控制的几个假设。在研究结果的基础上，我们建议教师引入减少文化刻板印象的计划应该是一个迫切的需要。

It is important for the learners of Japanese to leave culture stereotypes. How successfully the learners can discard these culture stereotypes, depends on their teachers of Japanese. But we have not yet found, what kinds of understanding of culture stereotypes teachers of Japanese or volunteers have and how they deal with them, though they have great influence on the learners. So we have made following four types of research.1 Analysis of interpersonal speech behavior that can be seen in foreign student's journal writings2 Action research in the classrooms of intercultural education for the purpose of reduction of culture stereotypes3 Discourse analysis of cultural stereotypes of Japanese students4 Questionnaire survey of awareness of cultural stereotypes on teachers of Japanese and volunteersAs the results of these works, the actual conditions of culture stereotypes in teachers of Japanese and volunteers have been revealed. And several hypotheses regarding perception and self-control of cultural stereotypes were developed in the course of this study. On the basis of the results of our researches, we suggest that the introduction of the program to reduce cultural stereotypes for teachers should be a pressing need.
