Study of political History of chiefs in the Kofun Period seen in Haniwa-industry and technology transfer in the History of Japanese manual industry in the late Prehistoric and early Historic Age.

在古坟时代的前半期，需要高技术专长的俑-哈尼瓦古墓从近畿地区迅速传播到其他地区。作为这一事实的背景，我们可以假设在这些地区由近畿地区派遣的Haniwa工匠制造Haniwa人物。这些古墓是古坟时代末期密集建造的（大约在4世纪末）古坟时代中期（大约在5世纪中期），古坟时代中期结束（大约在5世纪末）首先，我们与福冈当地的研究人员合作，收集了主要从各个地区的古墓中挖掘出的哈尼瓦人的测量和摄影等数据，大分县、宫崎县、山口县、广岛县、爱媛县、兵库县、大坂县、京都县、奈良县、和歌山县、滋贺县、三重县、岐阜县、爱知县、静冈县、长野县、山梨县、群马县等地，与研究合作者一起研究了汉尼瓦生产技术的交流和古墓文化的传播，并通过古墓建造技术的交流考察了地方长官之间的政治关系。在研究期间，我们举办了9次研讨会，与研究合作者分享研究成果，并澄清方法和共同问题。我们邀请了古代史研究者，从古代手工业史的角度讨论了有关哈尼瓦工业技术交流的政治意义等问题。最后，我对照片和图画等数据研究资料进行了分类，并与研究合作者一起对本研究项目自2005年以来三年的研究结果进行了报告。

The tumulus with Figural-Haniwa which require high technical specialty spread rapidly from the Kinki district to other regions in the first-half of the Kofun Period. As the background of this fact, we can assume manufacture of Haniwa figures at those regions by Haniwa-craftsmen sent from the Kinki district. Those tumuli were built intensively in the end of the Early Kofun period (around the end of 4 century), the middle of Middle Kofun period (around the middle of 5 century), and the end of Middle Kofun period (around the end of 5 century).First, we compiled data such as measurement and photography of Haniwa-figures excavated mainly from these tumuli at each region in collaboration with local researchers, in Fukuoka, Oita, Miyazaki, Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Ehime, Hyogo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Wakayama, Shiga, Mie, Gifu, Aichi, Shizuoka, Nagano, Yamanashi and Gunma.And we study exchanges of the haniwa-Production techniques and the spread of the tumulus culture with research collaborators, and examined political relations between local chiefs through exchanges of the techniques of tumulus construction.Second, we held a workshop of 9 times during this Research Project, to share the study result and to clarify the method and problems in common with research collaborators. We invited the ancient history researcher, and discussed the problems about political significance of the technique exchange in Haniwa-industry from a viewpoint of the ancient manual industry history.Finally, I classified data research materials such as photographs and drawings, and made the report whereby I put together with research collaborators, the study result of this Research Project after three years since 2005.
