Interface interaction between graphite surface and metal-complex molecule

羰基铁分子以高分散状态沉积在石墨表面。通过加热表面，发现羰基铁分子在表面上解离成CO和Fe，而不是从表面上脱附分子。产物CO分子在200-350 K从表面脱附，这明显低于报道的CO从Fe单晶脱附的温度。CO的吸附能很小，这是由于羰基铁分子与石墨表面的界面相互作用。

Iron-carbonyl molecules are deposited with high-dispersion on the graphite surface. By heating the surface, Iron carbonyl molecules are found to dissociate on the surface to CO and Fe and not to desorb molecularly from the surface. The product CO molecules desorb from the surface at 200-350 K which is significantly lower than reported desorption temperature of CO from Fe single crystal. The small CO adsorption energy has been ascribed to the interface interaction between iron-carbonyl molecules and the graphite surface.
