A Philological Study of the Indian Tantric Buddhist Funeral

本研究从以下四个方面解释了印度密宗葬礼的某些方面：(1)对规定印度密宗葬礼程序的孙雅摩提金刚的Mrtasugatiniyojana进行了评论版和注释日文翻译。基于Mrtasugatiniyojana和其他一些相关的原始材料，我们研究了印度密宗佛教葬礼的内容。(2)一些教导葬礼的湿婆和吠陀典籍也被研究过。密宗佛教和赛维辛之间的关系已经通过比较这两种宗教的葬礼得到了部分解释。(3)对密宗葬礼背后的思想和教义进行了考察。

This research explains some aspects of Indian Tantric Funeral in the following four ways:(1) A critical edition and annotated Japanese translation of Sunyasamadhivajra's Mrtasugatiniyojana, which prescribes the procedure of Indian Tantric Buddhist funeral, have been made. Based upon the Mrtasugatiniyojana and some other related primary materials, the contents of the Indian Tantric Buddhist funeral have been examined. (2) Some of Saiva and Vedic texts teaching the funeral have also been examined. The relationship between Tantric Buddhism and Saivsim has partly been explained through the comparison of the funerals of these two religions. (3) The ideas and the doctrines behind the Tantric Buddhist funeral have been examined.
