The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB) at the University of Guelph is home to nationally and internationally competitive research programs that investigate fundamental processes, functions, and interactions from molecules to cells in animals, microorganisms and plants. This department is one of the largest academic units on our campus with 42 faculty (which include 4 Canada Research Chairs, 2 University Research Chairs), 120 graduate students, 42 technicians, 14 PDFs, 10 Research Associates and approx. 60 undergraduate project students annually.
